New Summer-New Body

Summer is coming soo quick, even though the weather doesn't reflect that. Well all I want for summer is to be skinny, BUT its just so hard. Nearly impossible I would say. I want skinny legs, and me being polynesian it feels like an impossible task. SO I decided last week to get up and go to the gym try to do something active for just 1 week straight and if I do that then it will be easier to just go to work out. Ive been going to Zumba classes and they are a lot of fun, not as much cardio as I need but still a good start. SO naturally since this is monday I need to have a good work out to start the week off right. So im here eating easter cupcakes at 11:30am in the morning.. hahahahaha Im so horrible. At least im doing something partially good, im googling how to slim down legs. I found this little blurb of information.

Generally, women’s legs and thighs start to get skinny around a body fat percentage of 18%. For your thighs (especially your inner thighs) to become leaner, thinner and tighter, your overall body fat must be reduced through a combination of proper nutrition, exercise and consistency. Your nutritional plan must include frequent healthy meals and snacks to control blood sugar levels (5 small meals a day) and a slight calorie deficit. How much you are able to slim down your legs will depend on your body type, i.e. whether you are an endomorph, mesomorph or ectomorph.

Honestly? For women to get to the point where their legs/ thighs are slim and tight, they must put in perspiration and persistence. It has been estimated that on average celebrities (actors, singers, models, etc) exercise twice a day, spending 3 hours per day exercising, 5 days a week. In total? 10 workout sessions per week adding up to 15 hours of exercise. You can see for yourself that a great body does not come easily to anyone, not even those who seem to have it all and make it look easy. It isn’t. The hardest part perhaps is focus. There will be times when you get bored and times when you feel like giving up, because the results you were expecting are not forthcoming. This is a test of your determination; of how badly you want it; of staying the course and of keeping your eyes on your goal or of giving up. The choice is yours.

So that being said. Of course my dreams seem to be crashing down by the minute.

I want to look like this beautiful lady. I feel like she is a curvy body shape that could be achieveable for me!

or like kim

I've given up thinking im ever going to look like a victoria secret swimsuit model! even though my life would be MADE if i did.. just kidding. but for reals. there hot.

Ive decided to be determined and actually work really hard at my body this year. Ive never really felt like ive had a summer body even in my high school days when you just ate whatever whenever you want. Definitely got the whole thunder thighs cackles in high school, people can be so cruel, ive always been a bit self consious about my lower half of m body but this year im going to make a change. Im just so glad that i married such a wonderful person who doesnt judge me in anyway and always thinks im beautiful.

Weight loss plan-

When you lose weight - no matter how good you are - it will never be 100% fat, some of it will be muscle. But, what you can do is minimise muscle loss. Don't forget that when you lose muscle your metabolism slows down. Therefore, you must take steps to reduce muscle loss as much as possible. This means weight training! In fact on a good weight loss programme you can increase muscle mass. So, you've hit two birds with one stone. You lose weight, but simultaneously increase your muscle mass, adding shape and definition to your body. This will give you the appearance of great health, rather than the ill looking appearance of those who have been severely restricting their calorie intake resulting in fatigue, irritability, insomnia, muscle weakness and vitamin deficiencies. Basically, when you come out of a good weight loss programme you should be feeling the best of you life in a long time. Your stamina will improve, you'll see an improvement in your ability to exercise, you will feel stronger, you've lost weight and your breathing and quality of sleep is better, your complexion is improved, your skin glows, and the list goes on... This is the only way to achieve a healthy, permanent weight loss and to maintain a great physique. It requires a PERMANENT change of lifestyle - not just a 2-week diet.

SO there it is something ive NEVER tried before.. WEIGHT TRAINING. that is the secret to life!
